Why now
The work doubled. The hours didn't.
Custom application is growing on every kind of equipment, and the fastest-growing segment tells the story plainest: more operators, flat acres per operator, falling price per acre. The outfits that win the next five years quote faster, schedule tighter, and lose fewer hours to weather and paperwork. That's the whole product.
What it does
Six things every application business already does. We connect them so the work is entered once.
Quoting
Your customer gets a number before he gets off the porch.
A "Get a quote" button on your existing website opens your own Cloud Cowboy portal, in your name. The farmer uploads John Deere Operations Center fields or draws the boundary, picks the service and the window, and gets a price, an earliest date, and an estimated duration — from your rates, your minimums, your tolerances.
- Books and pays: deposit or card on file. Your phone number is still right there.
- You set rates by service and acreage tier, mobilization fees, seasonal windows, and what you won't do.

Scheduling
Nobody double-booked. Nothing left to memory.
Operators, rigs, aircraft, drones, trailers, trucks, and support gear each carry their own availability. Jobs are assigned against all of them at once. Days are sequenced with drive times: chemical pickup, field one, field two.
- Weather-aware: wind, rain, and temperature are watched at every job's location. When a forecast crosses your limit, the affected jobs move and other work that fits the window is pulled forward.
- Everyone affected is notified. The farmer sees the new time.
Mission planning
The plan is made before the truck is loaded.
Field boundary in; passes, rate, product volume, water, fuel, and expected loads out. Ready to export to the equipment — John Deere Operations Center work plans for ground equipment, mission files for supported aircraft and drones Confirm platforms at beta.
Live operations
See the field fill in.
The operator's phone marks leaving the shop, arriving at the pickup, arriving on site. A pre-job checklist. Then loads and passes are sensed, so the office sees coverage, loads completed, pace, and a real time to completion — and the farmer sees his job.
Estimated finish
3:40 PMGetting paid
The invoice sends itself.
Job closes, invoice sends, payment captures against the card on file, records file themselves. The farmer's fields, history, and billing stay on his profile so the next job is a thirty-second booking. You stop chasing checks.
Business insights
The heartbeat of the company.
Acres per crew-day, revenue per acre, weather-lost hours, quote-to-book conversion, on-time rate, product used versus planned, drive time versus work time, repeat customers. Where to spend the next dollar: another crew, a bigger trailer, a second supplier, a different service mix.
Scale
A company that can run eight crews should be able to run fifty.
Quoting, scheduling, and planning are pure overhead. They don't treat an acre. When the platform does them, the people you hire go to the field, not the office. That's how a small outfit reaches an economy of scale — and how the farmer ends up paying less.
